Happening at Dogwood

February 9-13, 2026, is Virginia Kindness Week. The purpose of Kindness Week is to recognize and encourage simple day-to-day acts of kindness that enable our schools and communities to be kind. This initiative will help create a safer, healthier, and more inclusive place to live, work, learn, and play. The theme for the week is “Belonging Starts with Kindness.”

Spirit Week: Wear the color of each day. Flyer is linked here Kindness Week Flyer

Scholars will vote on the staff person who shows the most spirit this week! So let the fun begin!

Have you heard of all the fun activities we've been doing as we promote respect, positivity, and community at Dogwood? Students will get together with their houses for a Howlz Huddle on the following dates...encourage them to wear their house colors! 🏠🐺
