Dear RPS Families, Staff, and Partners,
We hope you'll join us for the upcoming 2nd District Facilities Modernization Engagement Session on Thursday, September 24, at Dogwood Middle School from 5:30-7 p.m.
As RPS develops plans for the future of its schools and facilities, these community engagement sessions are an opportunity for families, staff, and community partners to learn more about the district's facilities needs and share feedback on priorities for the years ahead.
RPS currently operates an aging portfolio of buildings, with nearly a quarter more than 100 years old and an average facility age of 62 years. We are engaging communities across Richmond to discuss these challenges and gather input to help inform future facilities planning.
We hope you'll come out, share your ideas, and hear directly from RPS representatives and fellow community members. Together, we can help shape a future where every RPS student has a safe, welcoming school environment in which to learn, dream, and grow.
